(2) Adaptation test (reservation required)
We will check if you are suitable for LASIK surgery. It usually takes about 30 minutes. Visual acuity, refractive power, corneal shape, etc. are measured. We will determine the overall condition of the eye, whether there are any diseases, and whether surgery is indicated. As a result of the diagnosis, if you are eligible for surgery and wish to undergo surgery, please make an appointment for the second preoperative examination.
If you wear contact lenses, the shape of your cornea will not be your original one. Stop wearing contact lenses for 3 weeks.
*If you are in a hurry to undergo surgery, please stop wearing contact lenses when you make your appointment for the appropriate examination. For details, please ask the staff at the time of booking.
*Please bring your insurance card on the day.
③Second preoperative examination/counseling
It takes about 2 hours. Several detailed examinations are performed, including axial length, myopia power, and fundus. Accommodate the eye with eye drops and measure the actual myopia power. Based on the examination data, we will give careful counseling considering the work and living environment.
*On the day of the second examination, you will be given eye drops to improve the accommodation of your eyes. Please refrain from driving a car or motorcycle as the visibility is blurred. Please refrain from coming to the hospital by driving yourself.
(4) Prescription confirmation/surgery simulation experience
After counseling, we will make a final decision on the degree of surgery. You will also enter the operating room and experience a surgical simulation.
⑤Third preoperative examination
Final check of vision and prescription. We will talk to you so that you do not have any questions or concerns about the surgery. Antibiotic eye drops will be given to prevent infection after surgery. Start eye drops 5 days before surgery.
⑥ Surgery
On the day of surgery, please arrive at the hospital at the designated time. Please refrain from driving a car or motorcycle after surgery.
*Please refrain from wearing eye makeup on the day.
⑦Postoperative examination
After surgery, you will have regular check-ups on the next day, 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months.
